Abstract

This article focuses on the history of the Translation of the Holy Quran throughout the centuries. It will explicit the origin of Quran Translation, Transability & untranslatability of Quran with reference to the views of Muslim & Non-Muslim scholars. It will discuss Islamic theology regarding the Translation of the Quran. The article highlights the stages passed by the Translation of Quran in European languages. It will also introduce the preliminary Translations of the holy Quran in various European languages, Latin, Spanish, German, Italian, Adyghe, French, and English.

We will also introduce some important/prominent English Translation with a brief introduction
