Abstract

The Methodology of Al-Qasimi in the Quranic Modes of Recitation in his Tafsir Mahasin Al- Tawil: An Applied Study of Al Fatiha and Al Baqarah
This article describes the methodology of Al-Imam Al-Qasimi in explaining the intonation modes of Quranic recitation which are mentioned in his tafsir treatise; Mahasin Al- Tawil . The study of various standard readings of the Quranic text is pertinent to elaborate the miraculous nature of the Quran as well as it helps to determine the different meanings of a verse or a word . Hence , this research is focused to explore the different methods and approach of Al-Qasimi as specified in his commentary. It has also discussed the authenticity of opinions and validation of the judgements of the scholars on different Readings cited in Mahasin Al- Tawil
