The study of the leadership qualities of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the context of an ideal leader

Abstract

Today the Muslims of the world are in a dire need of a leader who could explain the life of the Holly Prophet (PBUH), keeping in view the needs of the modern age. However, it is regretfully said that there is a lack of such institutions that could educate people regarding leadership. Even we have constrained the definition of leadership only up to political field whereas in reality, leadership is required in every stage of life. People possessing leadership qualities strive to gain political power as well. In fact, they can demonstrate their leadership traits in the other fields of the life very well. In this regard, the concept of leadership needs to be elaborated.

Undoubtedly, a true leader is the one who provides intellectual guidance to his companions and improve their character. It the character building , and not the power, which is the central element of a leader’s vision. Those people are selected as leaders in the fields of knowledge and literature, science and arts who excel in the practical field of their lives and leave impact on people.
