Abstract

Marriage is a process that is an individual action and collective action at the same time. Before getting tied in this beautiful relationships both parties must absolutely be agreed and willing to spend their lives with each other. This aspect is of critical importance that this relationship starts with a strong footing so that it can stand up to tests of life. That is why the significance and importance of Females' Guardian is understandable. This article will also shed some light on the rights of Women and how much freedom she can exert in choosing her life partner. Islam dictates that whatever rights a person has he can exercise them in whatever way he desires without any fear of persecution and objection. Especially with regards to marriage, a person is free to marry whoever he/she wants when it comes to free will. Does a Woman have right to say no to a marriage proposal? This is the topic of my discussion in this article based on Quran & Hadees. This article has also included quotations from famous Jurists, Reports from Council of Islamic Ideology regarding this topic. At the end there is written analysis on all of materials referred in this article.
