Abstract

Faisalabad is famous for various religious genres of Urdu. This article iscompiled in view of the need for research and critical study of the services rendered by the poets in the last two hundred years. Until now, the genres of speech of praise, naat, manaqbat, salutation and salam have been evaluated in Faisalabad and the poetry of Faisalabad has been evaluated in the context of religious genres of speech. In the contemporary literary scene, there was a need for poetry written on Hamad and Naat and other religious themes of Faisalabad because the uniqueness of the work done on these genres here has added freshness to the creative environment of the religious genres Sakhan Hamdunaat etc. Hundreds of books have been published on these topics in this city, in view of the need to review their separate specializations, this paper was compiled to assess the creative performance of this city in the entire atmosphere of praise and religious poetry.
