Role of the family in the durable social progress and maintaining of peace in contemporary society

Abstract

Human being is social by nature, and has been living collective society. Only a strong family system can make and save the fabric of human society. In fact Family is a building block of societal structure. Family is the only institution where the nations are built. The formation of a family through peace and development which one can find security and peace of society is very important in Islam. That’s why Islam assigns the duty to spouses to create peace and harmony in family relations. In the following article concept and importance of family is highlighted and characteristics of Islamic family system has also been differentiated. The method used for the research was descriptive and standard.
