Abstract

This Study intended to the signify the grivences of ouster Mughal King Bahadr Shah Zafar. He was last king of Mughal Empire in Sub-continent after the establsihement of British Rule in subcontinent the English rulers arrested him and put him in exile in Yangoon (Myanmar). King Bahadr Shah Zafar was a literary person and a poet. So he expressed his feelings when he was in prison. Prison is a place where every person want to express his feelings of life and has great moans especially a person who was king of a great empire in Sub-continent. This article studies the poetry of Bahdr Shah Zafar what he wrote in his days of prison. Ofcourse he wrote this in Urdu but there is a lot of Urdu potry has been translated in Arabic and have been studies comperatively with the other Arab rulers who were also put in exile after they were defeated by the enemies. This Study emphasise his moans which tells his sad story of falling kingship and braech of his friends and other people and all the punishment he was facing in prison.
